Cruise to Sausalito

Aileen and I almost missed the 12:20 pm sailing time to Sausalito if not for that skeleton guy who chased me. Napabilis ang lakad namin. When we bought the tickets ($21 per person round trip) the lady said the Gold Fleet ship is leaving in 3 minutes kaya takbo na kami.

I am normally afraid to ride boats because I get sea-sick. But this 30 minutes ride to Sausalito is very smooth, I did not feel any single moment that the boat encountered waves.

The view of the San Francisco skyline was picturesque.

Eight years from now, I would like to have a house or apartment overlooking the mountains, city and the harbor, and walking distance to the marina where I could see the sail boats. A place with quaint shops like in Sausalito or in Sydney. Dreaming is free, right? And by that time I would have totally overcome my fear of the water, who knows, I might want to buy a boat. Wahhhh, dreaming dreaming, tuliro na ako sa dami ng dreams ko.

We reached Sausalito in half-hour. It was a perfect day to visit Sausalito, sunny and yet the breeze is cold.
This beautiful town across the Golden Gate bridge is full of quaint shops, cafe, art galleries and nice homes.
Aileen and I have both been here a few times in the past with our respective families but today would be different because it’s just the two of us. We would have more time to explore Sausalito one more time.
