Dress, Forint bills, Food, Street Musician

We walked from the hotel to Westend Shopping Mall. It was a long walk but since it was cold, I didn’t perspire or get tired. I just kept going, a little excited to reach 10,000 steps.

I bought a red printed dress for Theo’s baptism.
The store only accepted forint in cash so I went to a money exchange located on the lower level.

Sugarbird fashion store

Sugarbird is a local brand and the dresses are made in Hungary.

We were buying a maleta and paying in cash when the sales lady told me some of my bills were old and no longer accepted by stores. She showed me the old and the new bills.

I couldn’t remember if these old bills came from the money exchange, or these were bills I’ve been keeping from my visit here in 2015.

I have a white blouse I bought in 2015 very similar to this. I bought this blue one on this visit.

It’s very safe to promenade along the Danube River near our hotel.

I always give to street musicians. Kahit small amount lang I want them to feel appreciated.

My husband didn’t want to come with me to cross to this side of Budapest again. Galing na daw kami dito sa Castle Hill the last time bakit pupunta pa uli kami. When I told him I would go by myself, maiwan na lang sya sa hotel, para maka rest sya, he decided to come with me. Sama na rin sya.

The 35 minutes waiting time to go inside St. Matthias Church felt like two hours long because it was so hot outside and no shade.
