Eastwood Mall: Pasta Night, Chihuahua, Dog Park

August 24, 2018

My daughter bought us tickets to the movie every Asian wouldn’t want to miss, the Crazy Rich Asians. She told us to be in Eastwood at 5 pm so we still have time to eat dinner before watching the movie which would start at 6:50 in the evening.

Edmund and I met at our residence and rode together to Eastwood. Cibo won as the restaurant of choice. It seemed like pasta night because the three of us ordered pasta. Bolognese for him, sardines for me, something else for her.

After ten years I got sawa na of their squid ink pasta (al nerro) so I tried naman their sardines. I wasn’t hungry yet that’s why I couldn’t finish this whole bowl.

The pasta had enough sardines which I didn’t know beforehand so I ordered extra sardines. I thought they would give me two or three pieces. Yen and Edmund helped me finished the sardines but still, there were two pieces we could finish anymore.

On the second floor of Eastwood Mall coming from Cibo, there’s a kiosk selling cosmetics called Chihuahua. I thought it’s weird naming your cosmetics after a dog. My daughter likes the name.
Eastwood Mall, Chihuahua

I was telling Edmund I am afraid to try this brand because I might look like a dog. With due respect to the founders, I wonder why they named their brand after a dog. Maybe they are dog lovers too and they have a chihuahua.
A—-“…baka magmukha akong dog”.
Oyen —“At least you will be a cute dog”.
Sige nga next time we go back to Eastwood I will buy two lipsticks from them. Aw aw.

Right beside Cinema 7 is the dog park where Oyen brings our dogs. I didn’t expect it to be this nice.

I am actually looking for an artist who could paint our dogs’ faces on our gates, fences, walls. I want Jazzy, Simba, Lincoln, and Twinkle immortalized.

We watched last Friday evening in Eastwood Mall Cinema 7 where the seats recline fully very similar to Lazy Boy.
