I finally got to watch a segment of Eat Bulaga’s Kalyeserye portion featuring the super mega popular tv celebrities Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza.
It was only accidental. I was home and about to take a nap. I set my cellphone’s alarm clock. The tv was tuned in on CNN but I was feeling depressed from all the reports on terrorist bombings and stocks falling. I switched channels looking for a comedy show, but no idea whatsoever if I would even find one. Then when I reached channel 2, I saw the segment where there’s a Binibining Barangay contest with Maine Mendoza as one of the contestants. When I realized this was the most popular local tv show nowadays, All for Juan, Juan for All, I decided to watch the show out of curiosity. It was light and sometimes funny. I just found the dub smash lip synch portion too long.
Yaya Dub, the newest queen of commercials and billboards is on the front page of the Philippine Star. She’s the endorser of Bear Brand, Belo, Bench, Coke, Downy, McDonald’s, 555 Sardines, Tide, Bingo Cookies, etc.
