Edmund’s grade 6 yearbook

Someone brought his copy of Santa Maria Catholic School’s grade 6 yearbook at the gala night.
The quality of the print and paper was impressive. It’s been 48 years and yet the book is still in very good condition. I didn’t have a yearbook in elementary and even in high school. Even a mimeograph of the list of graduating students eh wala.

It’s like a life story book. Or a history book.

Edmund’s surname pala is Yu, and not Yee. Can we just use Yu so my name would be Annie Tan-Yu, para kunwari anak ako nung billionaire na si Tan Yu.

Edmund was surprised to see an advertisement of AOC Manufacturing Inc. This
was his father’s company. When he was in elementary, his father left Iloilo to try his luck in Manila. After a few years, he put up AOC, a men’s shirt knitting factory with one or two friends. AOC had been closed for 45 years.

We also saw an ad of TFT Express Printing Co. also founded by Edmund’s father, Willy Yee, together with Mr. Yam. Edmund’s father died of stroke two years before we got married. Mr. Yam died a few years ago in Hongkong.
TFT is still actively operating, now owned and managed by the eldest son Edgar.
