Eggs and Prayer offerings

It was raining hard on October 4 and my daughter requested if we could offer eggs.
I went to Santa Clara Church and offered a dozen eggs, prayers, and a small donation, together with a request to make it sunny at least on the morning of October 5.

I was actually not worried even if it rains because the ceremony would be indoors but Oyen said part of the ritual was for the groom-to-be and his brother to carry the Ting Hun cakes around the village.

So I went in the afternoon of October 4.

The security guard asked if I wanted to fill this up.

Aside from my request for a sunny day, I also requested for my son’s safety, good health, and guidance. I also prayed for a happy marriage for my daughter.
I also dropped a thank you note.

After I returned the pledge form to the security guard, he thanked me and gave me a nice picture of Mama Mary. How lovely.

Fast Forward:
It didn’t rain the next day. The sky was bright and sunny. Thank you po.
