Bong, Aileen and I had the privilege of visiting Elizabeth Payte-Montecillo’s magical house in Sunnyvale,
Paranaque on Monday, March 25, 2013.
We had some difficulty looking for their
subdivision. In Paranaque, there are many subdivisions inside subdivisions that are
inside another subdivision. It was my first time to travel deep into this area.
Beth’s house is a-la-Tuscany. The yellow paint of the house’s exterior has aged
beautifully creating a vintage patina look.
The entrance is reminiscent of the Tuscan Villages with twigs and vines that gave it a
cozy character.
It’s forever Christmas at the house of this charming wife, mother, engineer, professor,
interior designer, artist, and entrepreneur all rolled into one.
This house must be full of gifts from Santa.
Giant silver balls are scattered on the floor.
The slim but tall Christmas tree touches the ceiling.
Every piece of furniture was decorated with Christmas trims.
There’s a whole Christmas village at the foyer with matching battery operated choo-choo train.
Beth said even when her three boys were little, none of her decor was ever broken.
Our friend Tiffany Simeon, Beth’s #1 customer and supporter was there too.
She knew how to group things together.
She found these rare ceramic Japanese dolls in a vintage shop.
It’s snow time in their bathroom.
Her house is full of blue and white ceramic pieces and
other things that Beth has accumulated during their family’s travels abroad. Friends and family also gifted her with blue and white stuff.
Naturally artistic + a degree in interior design = gorgeous home.
