Instead of the usual annual summer beach outing, the first Filipino Games Sportsfest was held last Saturday, March 23, on the second floor of Ford EDSA in Greenhills, San Juan. With over 250 participants divided into 4 color-coded teams, the novel idea came from my daughter and was enjoyed by the employees. Even before the games finished, most of them already requested to make this super fun activity an annual one.
Luksong Tinik, Tumbang Preso, Hula Hoop, and Jump Rope were some of the popular Filipino neighborhood games that the four teams battled out.
The Second Sportsfest will be held in 2026. Ang tagal pa ano?
