Funds for Cancer Patients - Oh My Buhay

Funds for Cancer Patients

I took out some clothes from my closets to sell. We normally just give things away but this time I am thinking of selling stuff. I also have a few bags I rarely used, some bags were never used.

Silk dress, never used
never used dress, dark salmon, silk

never worn
pink salmon dress, never worn

Dark gray beaded lace, cocktail dress, never worn, Size 8 Made in India
dark gray lace with beads, never worn

I have a couple of paintings I will probably try to sell too. Basta anything I could get some money on to raise funds. For what?

I want to help a friend of mine. She has breast cancer and has started her chemotherapy last week. She mentioned that the whole cycle plus other injections would cost P1.5M. I can’t raise the whole amount, but I will try to raise about a hundred thousand pesos to help defray the cost of two treatments.

I also want to give some help to the cancer patients at the children’s hospital even if they are strangers.

If I could sell some of my paintings, that would more or less cover my goal. I will take pictures and post them here in a few days. Please visit my site again. Kakapalan ko na mukha ko. Maybe you have friends who like paintings. It’s for a good cause. Thank you.

  1. You have a kind heart, Ms Annie.. That’s why you are SO BLESSED, kc u always SHARE ur blessings to the needy, especially the sick kids, even if they are complete strangers to u.. 😉

May God bless u more for ur generosity and kindness.. <3

  2. You would be surprised of the prices some ‘pre-loved’ bags can sell for. Recently, I cleaned out my closet and sold stuff to help out a good cause. My highest sold item was $500 for a ‘vintage and pre-loved’ Bottega Veneta. I was surprised. So, you never know! As a bonus, I had more space in the closet. Win-win.
Would you consider posting a PayPal donate button? I’d contribute that way. I bet others would, too.
