Every year before I could even make a list of people I want to send gifts to, tapos na ang pasko. I am so slow in preparing for this things. Or I think I have outgrown the gift-giving thing. Like what I’ve said last year, buying is the easy part, the sending or delivery is the more difficult one. Minsan nawawala pa yung gifts, maling tao or maling address naiideliver.
Twenty years ago I was one of the firsts to send out gifts. November pa lang ready na ako. Ngayon, wala, tamad na tamad ako mamili ng regalo.
There are those who religiously send our family Christmas gifts. These gifts are my reminders “naku pasko na pala”.
Gift from Edmund’s good friend Philip L. Santos. Philip also gives Edmund herbal teas even if there are no occasions. Thank you Philip.
Santis is one of the favorite go-to place to buy ready Christmas baskets.
Their sales alone during the holidays must be enough to sustain their several months of operation.
This one is from Jackie Fernandez and Joy Legaspi, big bosses of East West Bank Auto Loans division. They were the ones who gave us P1.3 million worth of travel vouchers last year which we haven’t used. We didn’t receive the actual amount. East West Bank gave the money to the travel agency. We have to book our travel thru a specific travel agent that they picked and pre-paid. Ang problema namin, grabe naman sa mahal yung quote nung travel agency na yun. Tila ba yung P1.3M eh tickets pa lang naming tatlo eh ubos na. Sobra. Oyen requested East West to just give us the money so we could have travel flexibility to choose our own travel agency, pero hindi na pwede because they had already given the full amount to that agency.
Thank you Jackie and Joy.
There was a bottle of wine that’s been standing here beside the angel. It’s been there for more than a year. Yesterday I was going to bring it home when………
Ooops, asan yung laman? Hmmm, where did it go? Did anyone take it? Obviously, alangan naman naglakad pauwi yung wine.
