Goodbye pizza, hello sinigang

Dubai International Airport can be overwhelming. Its vastness, and especially if you have a heavy trolley and a short lay over, pwede kang ma-stress.
Finding your next gate could be daunting.

Buti na lang there are a thousand Filipinos working in the airport, madaling magtanong in Tagalog. Marami sa kanila wearing “May I help you” t-shirts.

Daniel Damolo has been working here in Dubai for a long time. His family is in the Philippines.

Daniel pointed us to the right train, to transfer terminals.

We only stayed in the Emirate’s lounge for a short while. We ate lang Haagen-Dazs in the kiddie section. We didn’t wait anymore for the last minute to go to our gate at baka muntik na naman kaming maiwan ng plane.

Although it’s still an hour before boarding, we waited na lang near our gate, at the Mcdo area. Oyen was craving for burger and fries.

I have no more appetite for inflight food even if I know they taste good. My taste buds are craving for champurado and tuyo.

I didn’t watch any movie because the screen was not as high-tech as the one from Paris to Dubai. This plane is older.

Omelet yan.

The flight to Manila was 8 1/2 hours and I slept through the flight.

We landed in Manila at almost 5 pm. There were several flights that arrived all at the same time kaya medyo chaotic in the baggage section.

Here comes our welcome party, hi Jazzy, you missed us no?

What’s for dinner? I hope it’s not pasta.
