I wasn’t in the mood to have Chinese food. We were going home in two days and there might not be any more chances for me to eat grilled sardines.
We split from the group and ate seafood lunch at the Mango Restaurant in Kamari Beach.
The grilled sardines and steamed mussels were the only ones I liked to eat.
Edmund added the black angus rib eye so we have meat.
The heat was dehydrating and making us thirsty. A small bottle of Coke for Mr. Yee.
Melon for me.
The restaurant is fronting the water and we have a nice view of people in bikinis.
The food was taking a bit longer to cook, they were still catching the sardines, so we decided to take a dip while waiting.
We were a little anxious our group would finish lunch faster. The bus would pick us up at 1:30 pm.
Ohh this rib eye was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Edmund was the one who ordered this but I think I ate the most.
Their grilled sardines are the same as Philippines’ tawilis. They look and taste the same. I miss the bigger sardines in Lisbon. Paging Cynthia Nakpil.
This restaurant was a three out of three. The three dishes we ordered all tasted good including this steamed mussles.
Natinik si Edmund buti na lang nawala rin after a while.
That was a perfect meal. Glad we ditched the Chinese food for this. Happy tummy!
I feel like playing the Mamma Mia soundtrack after reading your posts 🙂
HI Charisse,
Mama Mia here we go again, my my…..
Our family wants to vacation in Santorini. We read it is not wheelchair accessible. Is it possible for a person in a wheelchair to stay in oia village,Santorini?Or is it endless steps?Thank you.
Hi Vito, Oia is not wheelchair friendly. It is possible to bring a pwd but he/she would need a lot of assistance in mobility. Two men must be around to push and carry his wheelchair to go up and down uneven cobbled stone / natural granite slate steps. The alleys are narrow in Oia. You may stay outside of the center like Costa Grand where it’s modern with cemented wheelchair ramps and smooth walkways.
