The Korean delegates got photographed thousand times. Their national costume attracted women from 81 countries. They stood out from the rest of us.
I brought a Filipiniana dress but changed my mind. I didn’t wear it, ang sikip na kasi, mukha lang akong inipit. Sagwa!
They looked so elegant, so put together. They had matching shoes, bags, hair accessories, necklaces, kumpleta talaga.
Shiela Marie Castro, Sr. Admin Assistant III, and Lorna Villegas, Senior Agriculturist, both from the Department of Agriculture. There were more than 20 delegates from their group.
No reserved table, unahan, kaya medyo chaotic. Other nationalities didn’t want to share table with others. The friendly ones are French, Americans, Japanese, etc.

There’s a band playing in one corner of the ballroom. No one knew what their band’s name is. Tanung ako ng tanung, walang may alam. I asked the French women near me, they also didn’t know the name of the band. I saw the menu, merong VICTOR BERARD. Baka kako ito yung kumakanta. I asked the French lady beside me, if that’s the name of the band, she burst into laughter. Victor Berard, Cote du Rhone is the name of the wine that would be served to us. Malay ko namang ibang Victor yan.
One big slice of foie gras. I finished this kasi sayang. At two am, my stomach ached and the ending? Warkkkkkk.
