I didn’t expect that hotels in Healdsburg are fully booked most of the time. Unlike in Carmel where dozens of quaint inns adorn the old downtown, Healdsburg only has a few that are located at the center. Very limited choices. The hotel we stayed at last year, The Green Leaf, has no available room big enough for 3 adults. The two hotels located steps from the Healdsburg Plaza have bigger rooms but prices are far more expensive than those outside of Healdsburg.
For our short staycation, I picked H2 Hotel because of its proximity to the center of town. It’s walking distance to the park. It has bigger rooms that could accommodate 3 adults.
I paid $1,300 for two nights. Medyo mahal nga pala. Merong mas mura pero 30 minutes walk to Healdsburg Plaza.
We’ll be here for only two nights because we have a guest arriving on Thursday. Edmund’s elder brother Edward will be spending 5 days vacation with us.
