We discovered a Chinese restaurant called Harbor Palace Seafood Restaurant in Chinatown that ticks all the boxes:
1. Location is convenient and safe.
2. They have free, well lit and ample parking
3. Interior has bright white lights not conducive to necking.
4. They have a separate room good for 100 people for private events. I am thinking of booking this for the Tan Family welcome dinner in May.
5. Dining tables have clean white table cloths. No toyo or catsup stains.
6. Extensive menu choices. They have lobster, crabs, lamb, peking duck, white chicken with scallions and ginger sauce, etc.
A—-“Tart, order tayo soup. Gusto ko Shark’s Fin $60 per cup”.
E—-“hehehe”.
We love their seafood soup with tofu, it tastes like hototay.
7. Fast service
8. Attentive and courteous staff
9. Dishes have fresh ingredients and they are served newly cooked, hot.
10. Authentic Chinese dishes, not fusion.
The roast duck is not fatty. The skin is thin and crispy.
11. Delicious
12. Complimentary slices of fresh oranges
13. plus one fortune cookie for each person
14. Very reasonable prices
Minus 1: They use disposable plastic spoon and not the traditional Chinese ceramic soup spoon.
