I’ve been back for 13 days yet the things I bought from my trips are still scattered around our house. I am trying to keep them away little by little. The problem is, I have no more space in the cabinets.

I removed these plates from the packaging so I would remember to use them. The pink salad plates are from my April trip, the blue are from November, bought from the same store in Buda Hill.

At first parang I wanted to but a complete set of this pattern but wag na lang, tama na ito kasi I have no more place to store them.
I reserve the right to change my mind in the future.

Eto rin, the Herend blue apponyi tea set. Last May pa ito pero nasa box pa rin kasi wah space na. I don’t know where to display them. If I bring them out, baka naman mabasag lang.

Like this one, I bought this tiny souvenir tea pot 20 years ago from Praha. See, bungi na. I bought a new one recently but different and medyo modern na, English na- Prague.

Heights approx 1.5″ each.

I opened a supot and I found this tiny (2″ tall) ceramic tea pot from Bratislava. This ones’ from April’s visit, nalimutan ko na.
I have to put this in a locked cabinet or else easy to disappear or break.

I bought a table cloth long enough for our dining table for 6. It has light pink Christmas bells which go well with some of my Capodimonte ceramic decors.

This belongs to the same table cloth. Some parts have candle embroidery. This one looks holy.

Len and I bought this same white and blue pattern from a shop in Prague after the Charles Bridge on our way to the Church of Infant Jesus of Prague. Mine’s rectangular, hers is round. The owner shared with us his story about a Filipino family who came to his store and bought $6,500 worth of items. He was forced to close his store to attend to the whole family who were buying everything that he had on display. The matriarch had the items shipped to the Philippines. That was 20 years ago and up to this day, he said, that remained his biggest one day sale. He said he closed his shop right after the family left his store because he got so tired.  He has very good impression of Filipinos.  Kala nya tayong lahat ganun kayaman.

Seven Santas are from Prague but made in Russia. Two small table cloths are actually table napkins I bought from Puskas also.

I’ve posted their photo before. I am happy with my purchase. Naaaliw ako by just looking at this 7 identical Santas.

I bought 9 pieces of angels from Budapest. I hang them in the kitchen. Ang cute nila. Bakit nila 9 lang binili ko? I should have bought a dozen at least.

I sprinkled lavander oil on the dove. Meron bang dove na amoy lavander? Tila wala. Dapat yata pine scent para amoy pasko.

This small blue table cloth is also from Hungary. It’s square but I used it as a center table piece. Medyo baduy pero hayaan na nga.
It witnessed me and Edmund arguing about other people’s differences in presidential and vice presidential choices. He couldn’t understand why people would vote for certain candidates. Ganun talaga, iba-iba tayo ng perception, opinion and impression. Kaya iba-iba ang ibinoboto ng tao.

I found a small white and gold table cloth from Puskas, perfect for this tiny table. The gold Christmas balls were made in India, I bought from Marshall’s in the Concord, California. Cute ng anak ko.

  1. I always wait for these – goodies from your travel. 🙂
Lahat sila super ganda!! Those Santas, nakakaaliw talaga tignan! 🙂
Precious plates, please lock them sa cabinet. I also love embroidery, influenced by my Mother who loved to do crochet. She created a lot for our tables, beds at sa lahat ng may papatungan. 🙂 She was a very busy businesswoman and doing crochet gave her that special relaxation (aside from cooking) She never taught us kasi she said she uses her left hand sa gantsilyo. She’s ambidextrous and her dominant was her left hand. Thanks Annie for showing these to us, more please. 🙂 Ingat!
