Homeless People in America

Not all homeless people in America are poor. Many just choose that kind of lifestyle.

Many are also not in the right frame of mind. They should be cared for in a gated facility.

I used to give alms all the time. It was more of an exception if I didn’t give. It could be due to not having a $1 bill or loose change in my pocket. But lately, I stopped giving. I still do, only to street musicians.

I will no longer give to the street people. I will try. I do not want to encourage them to keep on living that kind of lifestyle. Unless they are physically incapable of accepting any kind of job, they should take a bath, and apply for simple jobs. They just don’t want to work. Some of them receive some form of aid from the government.

San Francisco now has at least 19,000 people living in the streets. Los Angeles has 58,000 more or less according to the tv report the other night. That’s crazy. The sunny and friendlier California weather attracts homeless people from the midwest and east coast to relocate to Cali. Maybe that’s the main reason why the homeless people in Cali are growing in number.

And because of the high cost of real estate and rental costs, many live in their cars.

I know there are those who are really dirt poor and have no means of sustenance but I don’t know how to spot them from those who are just not working.
I saw this beautiful blonde girl must be in her early 30s panhandling in San Francisco. I was tempted to tell her to go home, shampoo your hair and apply for a job.

It’s so ironic that one of the richest and progressive countries will have squatters problem.
