Our reception was held at the La Concha, on the top floor of Hyatt hotel located along Roxas Boulevard in Pasay City.
Most weddings were held in the morning and the receptions were usually breakfasts or lunch, and sit-down, Buffet style was not very common because it was more expensive.
Pero kami, buffet. I forgot na how much per person.
Eugene Villaluz sang at the wedding ceremony, while Pol Enriquez performed at the reception for more than half-hour. They were the superstar singers in those days.

Hyatt gave us a free room. We were so tired, ang aga pa tila matutulog na kami. Naalala ko bigla, abah, di ba honeymoon night dapat meron kaming romantic activity. I saw Edmund dozing off. Ginising ko, “Tart, di ba honeymoon dapat?”
