This is a reminder to myself that I have no more white plates.
I realized I have no more decent plain white plates. The ones we have are chipped, scratched and old because they are our everyday plates. I went to Rustan’s hoping to find some nice plain ones good for 14 people. The only ones they have are Corelle but I found them small and too plain naman.
Then I saw these made in Germany ceramic plates. They have subdued lines and the color is not too white. There’s a tinge of gray or super light blue.
I couldn’t exactly tell because the color inside the department store is not bright enough. The plates sell for P1,050 I think / piece. They only have 9 pieces left. I do like them but I had second thoughts of buying. Parang the design is too modern for my taste.
I think I’ll wait for my next travels and see if I can find some pretty white dinner plates that will take my fancy.
