I love Paris.  Who wouldn’t?

My very first travel to this incredibly gorgeous city was with Edmund.  He and my brother visited an assembly factory in Reims.  I followed after a few days.  We then stayed at the same small hotel,  Hotel de Sevigne located at Rue de Belloy, (pronounced rue de belwa) with cross street Avenue de Kleber.    The embassy of Etats Unis is a block away.

From then on,  it was forever love.  I kept coming back. I never got tired visiting it.  Just walking along avenues, gazing at the Eiffel Tower. It has a charm all its own.  The air smells good,  it’s French! C’est la vie.

I wish Paris stays as pretty as ever in peaceful co-existence with it’s surroundings.  Please let it be.

I do hope and pray that we humans learn how to live in peaceful harmony.    Let’s be understanding and tolerant of each others’ differences in culture, traditions, religion, ideologies, and principles.

  1. Couldn’t agree more with your observations. I was in Paris last month for a week and stayed at a shared house I found via Airbnb located at the 10th arrondissement. The city’s charm and magic never cease to amaze me. I always fall in love with the city every time I wake up and step onto the balcony. So lively and vibrant. Paris je’taime.
