My daughter, assisted by our staff, organized a fun Thanksgiving Day joint celebration of Ford EDSA, Ford Cainta, and Makati Ford.
EDSA’s showroom was cleared of vehicles except for one white Raptor.
There were food stalls — hamburgers, popcorns, iced tea, french fries, pizza.
ALL FREE.
I was shocked that we paid Seattle’s Best P17,000. Expensive indeed but our clients enjoyed the free capuccino, lattes, and Americano.
I got my glucose test result before I went to Ford EDSA and the result was 113 which is considered pre-diabetic. And yet, when I saw the Ice Scramble, I just went nuts, never mind that it was soooo sweet.
At first, the guy didn’t want to give me a cup. He was looking for a stub. I asked for the help of one of our sales staff.
First cup
I had a total of 5 cups. I love the taste of the skim milk.
There were three remote-controlled miniature Ford Rangers for kids. My daughter wanted to be a kid again.
It’s been more than 25 years since we’ve started. My kids were still in elementary school.
To borrow my daughter’s words:
Our small group has been around for more than 25 years and while we’ve evolved in many ways, at the core, we’re the same bunch, putting our heart, soul, and future into this business. Unfortunately, It’s easy to get caught up in life, stress and traffic. We don’t see time go by and worse, we don’t take the time to give thanks.
If you’ve ever been our customer, whether we’ve pissed you off or delighted you, please know that we still appreciate you.
We would love to see you again soon. Do come by anytime.
