Hotels are sprouting in Tagaytay. I am not sure if there are enough customers to make it profitable. An acquaintance owns a so-so bed and breakfast hotel in Tagaytay and he claims he earns about P500,000 a month.
I am sure hundreds of those who are buying the SMDC Wind condominium units in Tagaytay are investors and speculators. In a few years, thousands of condos would be up for rent for the day, week, months. Aside from the behemoth SM group, Cityland, Megaworld, Robinsons and the Villar group have been busy lately spreading newspaper ads announcing their new Tagaytay development projects. All these would have an impact on the hotel rooms. We’ll see, maybe the number of tourists that would flock to Tagaytay will also multiply many folds. How about the roads?
One new addition located along the Aguinaldo Hway is the The Lake Hotel. The building does not tower above the city which I believe is how buildings should be in Tagaytay.
The Lake Hotel has 58 rooms from P5,800 ++ a night to P32,000++ a night for a two-bedroom suite.
When I was leaving, I looked up and saw a couple at the balcony doing something exciting, or about to. The guy is puti and the girl is Pnay. The girl is seated on his lap and… the rest requires parental guidance. I wanted to take a picture pero hindi pwede, I had to respect their romantic moments. Baka magalit, batuhin ako ng condom.
They’re probably honeymooners, syempre, alangan naman na 30 years na married yan.
it was hot and sunny yesterday but for some reason, the volcano is covered with clouds.
