Beginning in 2020’s pandemic lockdown, we realized that we could take long vacations and not just two to three weeks. Pwede naman pala kaming maglakwatsa ng medyo matagal.
Our vacation ends today. We enjoyed our more than two months holiday this year and kulang pa nga. But we have to go home na to Manila kasi kawawa naman si Oyen walang kasama although she has her husband, the maids, office staff and managers. But we need to be there na talaga.
Meron daw nakapasok na daga sa loob ng bahay namin. The pest control set up traps but huhulihin namin. Marami ng tulo kasi luma na ang bahay namin. When it rains, it pours in Oyen’s bay window and recently, into Nyke’s floor. There are repairs needed to be done and that’s Edmund’s specialization.
We have work too, so it’s really time to say goodbye, for now although it’s hard to be away because my son is here, my siblings, my nieces and nephews, the whole gang.
Usually leaving is not exciting. And specially that the flowers are now blooming. Spring is here, the loveliest time of the year to host Sunday’s family barbeque, go on picnics, or just sit outside and enjoy the sun smiling at you.
This mountain will soon be brown again come summertime. They would still be lovely nevertheless.
I wish to stay longer thru spring but it’s not possible. It’ll be winter again next time we’re here.

This Starbucks Coffee branch will be closing after a week and moving to a newer location down the road. I hope they have a comfortable and safe outdoor seating area.
PIZZA TO GO
I always tell my son to have drinking water in his car and at least a month’s supply in the pantry for emergency. We have water filter and he has a water jug in his room and in the car.
Mochi, we’re leaving na. Behave, be safe, be happy.. Don’t hurt yourself by jumping off the table and counters.

We’ve never seen this tree flowering. Nagulat kami meron pala syang bulaklak. Maybe during spring only.

I will miss my son. I won’t see him for almost a year. Well, even if we’re always together I still miss him. I miss him everyday. Mothers are like that. They are forever longing for the presence of their children.
