All our bags are packed, ready to go…

We’re standing here, outside the airport’s door

I hate to leave my son.  My husband is teasing me.  Dati daw naiiyak ako pag-aalis dahil kay Aileen, ngayon naman, umiiyak ako kasi maiiwan ko si Nyke.

Merong temperature check,  and QR code check.

Many Filipino – Americans are sabik to go home,  Pwede na uli mag balikbayan, humupa na ang virus and the travel restrictions have eased up.  I am glad visitors no longer have to quarantine in a hotel.   Sayang oras,  sayang pera.
That’s Edmund’s new handcarry (or carry on luggage). He bought it from the Samsonite store for $200 + tax (I think). The size and configuration are perfect. The packets or compartments are very functional.

Madami na kaming handcarry luggage.  Tuwing magta-travel  laging bumibili. Kaya marami rin nai-donate and we give them away to the domestic helpers.
Mine was a gift from Oyen and Nyke, medyo luma na pero it’s still in good condition despite the scratches and dumi on the surface.

If I could only stay for one week more to chill out with Nyke…. but it would still be the same.  I would still feel the same lungkot no matter what.  Even if I stayed for another month,  maiiyak pa rin ako.

Oh the duty free shop is now open.  The last time we were here, they were undergoing some construction.

Philippine Airlines’ Mabuhay Lounge is closed.  We’re directed to stay here instead.  I forgot what lounge this is.  Air France ba?

They have beverages and some pastries.  We like PAL’s food better.  PAL has noodles, or lugaw, sushi, skewers, salmon, salad, etc.  Fiesta.

We were feeling inip so we went out na.

I didn’t want to spend an hour sitting at the lounge eh pag-alis namin we would be seated on the plane  for 14 hours.

Better to walk around and increase the number of steps.

What else is there to do at the Duty Free shop?

Shop! My husband is standing outside, he has no clue that in 5 minutes, naka-shopping na ako.

I wish this YSL cross body were a little bit bigger.
