Leaving today for Manila

February 3, 2020,  Monday

My flight was scheduled last night but it was cancelled due to the plane’s mechanical trouble I was told.   Flight was moved for today at 4 pm.

I stayed up until 3 am this morning cleaning, doing laundry, ironing.  I changed all the bedsheets, comforters,  and pillowcases so that when we come back three weeks from now all we would do is lay down and sleep. We would all be busy by then preparing for Oyen’s wedding.

I went to the nearby park to throw away the garbage.  Dumping is not allowed.

garbage

Does this qualify as garbage dumping?
dumping

Set the security alarm then run.

uber uber where are you?
The Uber driver told me that his female friend recently had a bachelorette party was raped by the Uber driver. She was vey drunk and flirted with the driver according to the other female friend who was less drunk. This girl got off first and left the bride-to-be on the Uber. The bride reported that when she woke up, the black guy was on top of her. Her groom to be is arriving soon from Turkey for their wedding and she’s in a quandary whether to cancel their wedding. She doesn’t know what to do because she thinks he would no longer marry her if he finds out that she had been raped. The Uber driver who is also from Turkey tells her to tell her fiancee the truth. If he backs out of the wedding because of what happened to her then it’s better that way according to her Uber driver friend.

Edmund’s instruction was  to disinfect the handles with anti bacterial wipes.

He repeated several times, “PUMUNTA KA SA TARGET, BUMILI KA….”

This is one of those times when I don’t want to see even one single person. Safer that way— from achoo achoo.

Few people at the Mabuhay Lounge. There is a male Filipino who is annoying. While pouring a glass of Johnny Walker, he is asking the PAL receptionist bakit daw self-service duon. “Self-service pala dito”. Dapat daw merong nagsisilbi.  “Mas masarap kasi pag may nagsisilbi”. Para namang prinsipe ng Titikaka. Tapos hindi pa nakuntento, dapat daw merong fine print. Paulit-uli ng sabi ng fine print. Dapat daw pag bili ng ticket nakaprint na duon ang cancellation. I WAS LOOKING AT HIS BAG TAG— Economy.  Hindi pala sya dito eh sya pa ang demanding.

The sales ladies wear face masks. I feel lazy to look at stuff. I am not going to buy naman, just not in the mood.

Getting ready to fly.
