I want white and blue, baby pink flowers and a little arte on my venue setting so I met with Tecson flowers’ third generation apo of the founder, Sarah Salvador. I discussed with her my simple idea at the same time I want it to come out romantic and elegant. She initially showed me samples of grand weddings, but I opted for something simpler. Apat lang kami at sa sampayan lang namin ang party— for 4 px. (I have a lot of wedding stories, next time na). Sarah told me it was helpful that I already knew what I wanted which made their job easier.
I could just be the one to decorate but I didn’t have carpentero to help me execute my ideas, hence I needed some professionals.
There are 3 florists, an electrician, decorators, assistants, who’ve been working non-stop since 10:30 am to turn our deck into a beautiful garden.
I cannot be the camera girl either. So to make sure I capture the memories, I contacted Erwin to cover the two hour dinner. Parang wedding talaga!
Cake, of course. Para talagang tutoo. I ordered cake from Dexter’s Bakeshop. Chef Mel got stressed out because I went there with a well defined idea, but a limited budget only.
P75,000 daw yung cake? Grabe yan na yung gastos namin nung 1983! I ordered a small and simple one pero Chef Mel is making at that price for me lang. Out of pakiusap.
I have to get ready na for the most exclusive event of the century.
It’s so exclusive, only three VIPs have been invited and they’re not excited.
I hope tonight their mood change. Especially when they see the menu.
Stay tuned.
