Invitation says “The Rooftop”.  Sobrang pretentious, actually sampayan namin yun, pinatanggal ko lahat ng kawad at pinawalisan ko kahapon.  Pinaalis ko rin lahat ng sampay ng mga maids.  Puro damit nila yung naka sampay, meron pang bra.

Stairs leading to the deck.

012

I decorated the walls with family photos.

013

I still have several of this same picture frames.  Natamad na ako to hang them.

015

These are light foldable plastic tables

008

I hope this works.  I will put two tables side by side to make a big square table.  Ang hirap mag rent ng one table and 4 chairs only.  Kaya I will just use what we have at home.

I need 4 wine glasses,  4 water goblets, 4 juice glasses plus 4 extras.

018

Perfect timing, my plate shipment is here. This is what I want to use tonight.
043

I bought them in NY
044

Dyan napunta ang baon ko. Gift sa sarili ano pa.
038

I ordered French food. To serve hot and freshly cooked, they must be prepared on site kaya I cleared na our kitchen island to give the Executive Chef enough room to do his thing. I hope he comes before 6 pm. Our menu naman is fairly simple and easy to prepare.
085

And what’s that? I asked our new cook Noni to keep this. Dyan nya isiniksik!

I bought one dozen of yellow roses for the toilet on the deck.  Syempre dun kami pupunta instead of going down to our respective bathrooms.   when I opened the plastic,  there were only 10 roses.  Dapat pala binilang ko before I paid the girly-tindero.

028

Instead of the standard crystal vase,  I used a small stainless steel pail as flower vase.

Medyo cute din.

Sobrang international itong banyo.   Cheap toilet paper from Okibukuro in Tokyo,

Brass faucets from Home Depot in Hayward.  Ceramic Soap dish and soap from Marseille, France.

Handpainted lababo from Manhattan.  Ayaw ni Edmund, pero binili ko pa rin.

No one uses this bathroom kaya it’s not guest-ready.

031

There’s a small pantry on this floor.  Pwede pa la itong mini-condo.

032

The murals were done by two artists from Binangonan, Pedro from Pila-pila and one young apprentice from Calumpang. They did this continuously for 5 days. Hindi natapos. I wanted to have this retouched kasi kumupas na pero I couldn’t remember anymore their complete names and telephone numbers.
073

Ininis pa ako ni Edmund kasi ewan kung anong naisipan nya, ipinalipat yung mga aircon compressors dun sa taas, pumangit tuloy. Umiyak-iyak pa ako. he promised to remove them, nalimutan na.
075

I ordered lots of white roses and milflores or hydrangeas. I wanted sana white ones but those are imported daw and must be ordered in advance. I only ordered last Saturday kaya wala na.
069

I asked the florist how come there are lots of pinks, eh I want mostly whites. Yun nga daw, walang makuhang puro puti na milflores.
077

Puro pink, baka magmukhang parang pang debut.
078

This is going to be really nice!!!
