It’s no longer funny going out and seeing a dozen women with the same bag as mine, sitting at a lauriat table with two women with the same purse, traveling with half the airline passengers dragging, holding, carrying an LV monogrammed maleta, purses, bags, etc.- fake or not.
I’m glad Louis Vuitton is adding lots of colors and new designs for a change without abandoning the iconic brown monograms.
I inventoried my bags and a lot of them are facing decay, a combination of being old and due to our country’s humidity.
Bumabaho yung leather.
There was a time nauso yung backpacks. The black Bally bag was a birthday gift from Edmund, siguro mga 15 years ago. I’ve only used it for maybe 10 times.
The Fendi bag, I bought from Rustan’s, mga 10 years ago na or even more.
Even if I kept them inside dust bags, nag-aamoy amag pa rin. The pink one is a Coach I bought in the US for $350+.
It’s probably 5 years old.
This Bally got stucked with a blue Lancel bag. The bluish stain doesn’t like to come-off.
Can you see the white amag? The black patent leather trims are peeling-off. In fairness, this bag is very old, siguro mga 10 years old. I bought it in Marseilles, France.
Edmund donated (without my knowledge) my Cartier, Bally, etc. bags to Caritas three years ago when he cleared out our storage room, kasi daw nanigas na yung mga leather. His justification was “hindi mo na mapapakinabangan, ewan kung gamitin mo pa”. Kaya yun, tsuk, ipinamigay.
