Mona Lisa at The Louvre - Oh My Buhay

Mona Lisa at The Louvre

I’ve heard some people pronounce it as Louver Museum. Louver is the wooden window shutter. The Louvre is pronounced as Loovv, silent re.

It would take several months, 8 hours a day, 6 days a week for a person to be able to view for a few seconds each and every Louvre collection of art and paintings.

One cannot walk for several hours straight, it’s too exhausting. Tourists are normally given a maximum of two hours to tour the museum. With the limited time and ENERGY, you just have to prioritize which painting or sculpture or section you want to visit. People usually go to the Mona Lisa and Venus de Milo.

Leonardo da Vinci has more beautiful paintings than the Mona Lisa but this one because the icon because it was always in the news after it was stolen. it was stolen and brought to Italy because according to the thief, Mona Lisa belongs to Italy since the artist is an Italian. Leonardo’s model is a woman named Lisa del Giocondo. The painting is more than 400 years old.

Kulit nung iba.  Sabi ng NO FLASH,  ayun, kuha ng kuha ng may flash.   The paintings kasi would fade faster when they are constantly exposed to lights.  How many million shots are taken each day infront of the Mona Lisa?

It would be more difficult to steal the Mona Lisa. The painting is now encased in a bullet and shatter proof glass with high frequency sensors and security alarms.

Siguro sad na sad yung mga kaluluwa nung mga ibang pintor, ni hindi man lang nabibisita ng mga turista yung paintings nila.

Pinilit ko lang yan magpa picture kalapit itong nakahubong marmol. Dalagang Pilipina pa at nahihiya. Ako nga gusto kong dakmain yung betlog at usyosohin bakit mukhang lumipad yung ibon nya.

Napansin ko agad, maumbok yung pwet nya. Gusto ko sanang hawakan pero sinukluban ako ng konting hiya. Once in a while, my face is also manipis.

Tour guide said the heart shapes on the marble stones are markers made by the workers to count how many stones they had laid. Kala ko lunch break lang nung mga laborers at walang magawa, baka mga inlove.

This building has the most beautiful home furniture and accessories I have ever seen. I used to come here all the time just to look at the pieces. Look only because the pieces are rare finds and thus the prices are as high as the Eiffel Tower.
