It’s Oyen and Edmund who like Lululemon Athletica sports apparel. I have never paid attention to this label and never went inside their stores. When husband goes shopping, I don’t go with him, I wait at a bench outside.
Until one evening, the two went inside the Lululemon store. Oyen tried on some exercise outfits. While father and daughter were inside the store, I went out but couldn’t stand the cold. There was a nice bench right in front of the door but it was just too cold and windy. I went back inside and pretended to be looking at the winter jackets. I saw one with soft material, grabbed it and brought it to the fitting room, then to the cashier. My husband was surprised that I bought something.

It was in the news a few times lately for being the favorite of shoplifters. Hauling dozens and dozens of expensive Lululemon clothes from the store’s racks don’t qualify as shoplifting. It’s blatant stealing in full view of the sales clerks and other customers. Breaking the glass doors at 2 am and stealing $80,000 worth of Lululemon merchandise is not considered a petty crime.

Hi Cody, you are right. They downgraded the penalty on theft to a mere demeanor. A dozen Michael Kors bags were literally lifted off the display rack right in front of the nose of the”Preventive Loss” officer, I approached him and asked how come he didn’t do anything to stop the two black women? He said he didn’t want to lose his job. “But I thought that was your job— to prevent losses?” He said he cannot do anything. “You should have called the police”. He said they won’t come if the value of the stolen merchandise was below a thousand dollars. I was both disappointed and disgruntled. America is retrogressing.
Dear Cody, Your warning reminded me of a store security guard who stopped a man who stole several items from leaving the store. The thief slashed the guard’s hand.
