It’s been a really cold winter. But of course winter is meant to be cold.

I always wear double daster around the house and double blanket at night. With Edmund gone, I am assured that I would always be wrapped at night. Sometimes kasi he tugs the comforter to his side which leaves my but freezing cold, hence I have an extra blanket to cover me up and keep me warm.

As if there’s a weather switch, when I woke up this morning, gone was the fog. And while driving to get supper, the sunset turned orangey. This could be a sign that spring is coming soon.

Spring in the Northern Hemisphere officially begins on March 20, 2020 and ends on June 21, 2020. Oyen’s wedding is slated on March 15 that’s why it’s considered a winter wedding. We were warned by the vineyard that there wouldn’t be any flowers yet during that period. Hopefully some early bloomers appear.

I like spring. Flowers start blooming. It’s a signal that new lives begin.
When springtime comes, it’s also a signal that my baby girl is baby girl no more.
