March 14, Tuesday
Edmund didn’t have a golf game so he accompanied me the whole day.
We stayed in bed till 10 am to have a full rest and catch up on sleep. No, we had separate beds. Nope, we didn’t do anything hot and spicy.
I wanted to explore a little farther away from the usual places we visit in the city and go to Eve’s Garden for lunch but they were fully booked. So our default restaurant was Chef’s Home.
It’s always good to come to Chef’s Home because food is consistently delicious. And we genuinely want their business to survive the tough competition so we always come here every time we visited Baguio to patronize their restaurant.
Edmund, Mrs. Gina Emuang, OMB, Chef Alvin Emuang
Gina met Chef Alvin in Thailand when she was working there as a singer at a hotel, while Alvin, of Malaysian descent, was the executive chef in the same hotel.
Edmund and I didn’t have breakfast. We’re hungry but since it’s just the two of us, we ordered two dishes only, Crispy papaya salad that’s shaped like a bird’s nest,
After a few minutes, Edmund got worried that our food won’t be enough, wala daw kaming ulam. So we added Seafood Tom Yang Soup P800
We skipped dessert because we were so bundat na (Tagalog for glutted).
Chef’s Home is at the corner of Outlook Drive and Romulo Drive. It does not have a designated parking space so we parked on the street. Across their resto is full of parked public utility vehicles.
We parked right in front of their tiny building. Isiniksik ni Edmund yung sasakyan beside the potted plants.
Time for a commercial break. #fordcainta
