We picked up from Daly City our friends, the mother-and-son / best friends / travel buddies / partners in crime tandem, Det de Leon and Loel de Leon.
It’s funny because when we are in Manila we don’t get to hang-out. Natyempo we are in the same city at the same time. Dito pa sa America kami nagkita.
I actually wanted to bring them to Hog Island Oyster but I wasn’t sure if oysters were their thing. We went instead to New England Lobster Market and
Eatery in Burlingame to have lunch.
We’ve all been here before and Loel said okay lang to eat here again. It’s his dad’s (Elmer) favorite restaurant daw. Next time, we’ll bring them to my favorite resto.
Spending some time away from home gives us a breather. We are more relaxed although there’s always some anxiety not knowing what is going on back home on a day to day basis.
I don’t know how I can eat crabs without using my fingers. Washing washing eating eating washing washing again.
