We were one of the first customers of AOZORA when they opened in the middle of the pandemic in 2020. We liked the food, the ambiance and the quaint setting of the whole Danville Livery that we kept coming back. Aozora earned our badge of approval from the moment we sat in. This is one of our favorite Japanese food restaurants.
We always preferred dining outside in their veranda-like patio except for today. The indoors seating area was not full so we felt at ease.

Nyke and Edmund eat sashimi, Oyen and I don’t. All of them eat sushi except me.
Who else love sushi? Hollywood and Philippine celebrities such as Justin Timberlake and his wife Jessica Biel, Lady Gaga, Hugh Jackman, singer Miley Cyrus, Kim Kardashian, Ariel Rivera and Gelli de Belen, Jinkee Pacquaio and presidential aspirant Senator Manny Pacquiao, to name a few.
