This is ultra popular among  Filipinos in North America.  When my brother first came to San Francisco he would send some pasalubong once a year.  The sight of that familiar shopping bag made us excited.  “Galing sa Macy!”

Whenever I visited any Macy’s,  the place was always empty.  I wonder how they sustained their operations.

You’ll most likely encounter a senior Filipina cashier who would tell you mayaman ka pala kasi bumibisita ka sa America.

I hope the mall owners in the Philippines plant more trees around the mall. Look at this, even the spaces are so tight, they still managed to plant lots of trees including in the parking areas.

I always go straight to the top floor where the home accessories are located.

This is the Martha Stewart Collection:

I have a Royal Doulton collection in this pattern. But the ones they make now are no longer made in England but in Thailand, etc. And you would notice the quality and craftsmnship are very different. It’s no longer fine porcelain.
