Monzo Japanese Restaurant

I took Uber to go to a showroom somewhere in Durango. From there, I took Uber again to bring me to Hot & Juicy Craw Fish in Spring Mountain only because that was the address still saved on my phone. When I opened the restaurant’s door, it was still locked. They open pala at 12 noon. It was only 11:30 am. It was so hot, there was no way I would stand outside their door to wait. I walked some 30 steps and I found a Japanese restaurant named Monzo. They were open and had a few occupied tables.

I went straight to their wash room to wash my hands, face, arms with cold water. I walked for only a minute pero parang naprito na’ko.

I ordered shrimp tempura.

The bowl had 3 tiny shrimps so I ordered an extra chicken tempura on the side.

The chicken was $1.50.

The place was clean and decent. The service was fast and the waitress was friendly and welcoming. The food was good. The price was presyong local, hindi pang turista. Overall, it was a good lunch.
