Para akong naglilihi sa Pansit Bihon. While I was at the office last saturday, I asked the staff to order one big bilao of pansit bihon from Amber’s. Kaso ang tagal -tagal pala ng delivery. It took them more than an hour. They arrived at 3:30 pm when my head was already aching.
I had the honor of getting the first plate, tapos sumugod na ang mga staff.

Ewan what triggered my migraine.  Maybe  from lack of sleep, stress, or heat.   Actually morning pa lang I felt my head was a little tight but I ignored it.  Towards 3 pm,  it became a full blown migraine.

There were customers in the showwroom, although  I was already grouchy from migraine, I stayed for a while and observed the clients.

They opened and closed the trunk several times,  amazed at how quiet and smooth it was.

I went home at 4 pm and put a lot of GIGA peppermint rub (from my ohmybuhay reader Alvin) on my neck, shoulders, head, temple, and everywhere.  I also took one-half Bonamine tablet and Ponstan 500 SF.

I was in bed watching TV when Edmund came home at 6:10 pm.  Two minutes after he kissed my cheek,  he complained “Tart, ang hapdi. Ang anghang, Ano ba yung nilagay mo?”  Napunta pala sa labi nya yung peppermint.  (laughs)

I asked him to massage my neck and shoulder to relieve the pain.  Edmund has a strong grip.   Kailangan sabihin ko agad kung malakas or masakit kundi baka sa halip na migraine ang mawala,  ako ang mawala sa mundong ibabaw.

He doesn’t like massaging my neck, naiinip, nabo-bore, napapagod.  Pero alam ko ang diskarte.

Since he just came from a golf game,  I asked him about his golf.  So busy sya pagku-kwento sa akin kung anong nangyari sa golf nya that day, kaya hindi nya napansin,  hagod sya ng hagod sa batok ko.    Libre massage.

We missed the anticipated mass so we just went out for dinner.  This time naman,  Oyen wasn’t with us.  Sya naman ang may party.

We tried going to Basil but they were full.  Edmund suddenly remembered that there’s a Japanese restaurant that his good friend Chino Raymundo recommended.   Edmund totally forgot the name of the restaurant but he remembered that it’s near Linden Suites in Pasig.

He messaged Chino, buti na lang he immediately responded.  The name’s Marufuku.  It’s on the ground floor, at the back of Crescent Condominum, San Miguel Avenue, Pasig City. Near UA&P.

He said we should try the Grilled Oysters and  Ebi Tempura.

Spicy tuna roll

Chino recommended this, in fairness, they were really masarap, but at P240/order of 2 pieces? Okay, tikim na lang.

Edmund said I should not close-up the food kasi they don’t look appetizing when picture is too close. Oo nga ano? Mukhang ano?

Hayyyy Kampay, mali, sa wine yata yun. Ulit, Hayyyy, Pay-payyyy, baka masunog yung inihaw mo.

Chino was right. the Ebi tempura was really good.

This Seafood Ramen was an after-thought. Busog na kami actually but we saw the waiter bringing 3 big bowls to the next table medyo nainggit kami. I liked this better than the one I’ve tried in Ikebukuro.

We thought medyo mahal ng konti. We couldn’t help comparing it with how much we paid at Mangetsu in Jupiter, Makati. We also paid over P4,000 but we were 4, Julienne was with us, and the amount of food was more than double.

Marufuku opened in August 2012. Our overall dining experience was good. The food and ambience were good.
Downside: Edmund found the wooden chair too hard. Kung meron kang rayuma sa likod tulad namin, just eat fast then go para hindi manigas ang bewang mo. For younger people, this wouldn’t be a problem.

Keep in mind however that you need a budget of P1,000 – 1,500 per person. To save,  order one bowl of Ramen,  ask for one pitcher of boiling water, extra bowls, add toyo and pepper, then split to 10. Chow.
