My souvenir shop is ready

March 15, 2020, Sunday

After breakfast we (LEN, BONG, DEV, ANGIE,  ECY) went to the wedding venue.

The road was wet  from the rain earlier.  The clouds were clearing up a bit but dark clouds still hovered above.   According to the weather report,  rains would come again beginning at 1 pm.  Not drizzle or ambon, but pouring rain.   But it would clear up starting at 2 pm onwards.  That was good news.  I continued to pray and wish for a brighter sky and sunshine.

We dropped off the teacups and soaps,  cheese plates, shawls, and other wedding decorations and supplies.

The catering team was busy arranging the tables and chairs, DJ booth, bar, etc. The florist was there too, and Jen, Joey and Junjun were there organizing everything.

Len and Angie helped me set up my souvenir table. Angie was excited over the cute soaps. I asked her which one she liked.  Ayun, yun at yun pa! She pointed at the one with a carton box with lavender prints and one milk soap in a wooden box. I gave them to her na kasi later baka makuha pa ng iba.

The caterer had only one extra table I could borrow. It would have been nicer if there was another table so I could display more.

Souvenir shop — ready!
