Driver-  mam saan don, sa   Cubao?

I spent more than an hour this aftertoon at the Globe branch in Galleria.  I didn’t realize it’s tedious to have a service cancelled or terminated.

There’s just too much red-tape.   Pasensya na pero kunsumi talaga ako, ang super super sungit ko doon.  I was there already and yet,  they couldn’t process it,  I have to call their call center.    They let me use their landline,  sinungitan ko rin yung operator.  Ang nagme-menopause, mas masahol pa sa naglilihi.

The call center girl asked a series of questions,  I think she was reading in front of her.  She asked for my billing address.  I told her hindi ko sure kung ang naisulat ko eh home or office.  I gave my home address.  She didn’t say anything.   She asked for my birthday, my mother’s complete name, I gave my 3 Globe cell numbers.  Still she asked for the account number.

Nainis ako talaga.  Are those informations not sufficient for their verification?   Sa American isa o dalawang tanong lang okay na.

Calle center agent — “mam, for verification, what is your account number?”

Me——–: I don’t know.  Paano ko naman matatandaan ang account number ko.  Tanungin mo nga lahat ng tao dito kung merong memorized ang account number nila sa Globe?

When I gave her my home adddress,  she should have told me na it did not match their system.  Then I would have given her my office address.

I already told her I want Tattoo terminated, discontinued.  She repeatedly asked  if I just want to suspend it or ,termporarily disconnect o…..

Kaya sinungitan ko na “terminate it, I already said terminate it”

Tapos maybe another set of questions have to be asked as to why,  saan ba ang mahinang signal,  saan ba ang location…

I cut her ” I’ll cut you ha,  it’s useless asking me why, saang mahina ang signal,  just terminate it.  Di ba ni re-request ko na terminate it na”

They want me to touch base with another team to find out why their Globe Tatoo’s internet is so slow.

After several minutes she finally accepted my request to terminate it , permanently.

Bumanat pa   “if you have relatives or friends to transfer the Tatoo so you don’t have to terminate it…”

Sinigawan ko na ulit,  “papahanapin mo pa ako ng relatives and friends,  just cut it, terminate it,  wala akong relatives…”

After several more minutes on hold,  they finally assured me that my Tatoo would be cut.  They would just bill me with the P3,600 gadget payment  plus P500 processing fee.

Before I put down the phone,  na guilty naman ako sa kasungitan ko I told the young call center lady “pasensya ka na ha”.

Old women like me cannot be call center agents.  pag galit ang customer,  galit din kami.
