The day before Christmas
Our table is not noche buena ready kasi nga matatapunan lang ng toyo sayang lang. I just prepped it up yesterday afternoon.
I was cramming and moving very fast while changing our table covers.
I’m glad all my balikbayan boxes were delivered two weeks before Christmas. My table setting supplies arrived in time.
I have four of these wire and crystal candle holder from India.
The napkins are from World Imports, while the candle holders and battery operated lights are from Marshall’s.
The first layer of table cloth is by Ralph Lauren. I bought it in Macy’s.

I tied cute ceramic angels around the napkins using gold ribbons
I bought two dozens of white roses in Farmers Market for P400. Buying arranged flowers would triple the cost so most of the time I just do the arrangements for our centerpieces.
I asked Oyen to arrange the roses.
Next is choosing which plates to match my table cloths.

After the plates, I looked for silvers that would blend with my plates.
I chose this ones. I bought this in October 2013 from a respected antique dealer in Scotland near St. Andrews. The set is not complete. Kulang-kulang na. I liked the pattern, mukhang luma na lang talaga.
Next, our seat assignments. I found the Royal Doulton box empty. I was on the verge of crying na. Who the pakpak took them?
I have two other sets with different styles.
Oyen said it’s not necessary anyway they know their names.
We always sit at the same places, still, I want to see my name, my seat assignment.
The single reindeer is from Macy’s in Pleasanton Mall. I only bought one piece kasi ewan ba namamahalan ako. Tila $13 each.

I bought several yards of white cloth cut them equally into 4. I taught the maid how to cover the chairs.
I am so scared na of real candles after I almost burned down our house when I forgot that I lighted a candle at the altar.
My front door Christmas lights are so simple but my husband said they’re nice daw. So with that, I am happy.
