1. We got off at the Metro Station in front of the Opera not because we were going to watch the opera. We went to the Louis Vuitton boutique right beside it. I was looking for something that I didn’t even know what. I went around the small store three times, but I didn’t find anything. I didn’t even know exactly what I was looking for. But I was open to making a purchase for a shoulder bag that has a zipper so my things most especially my money do not fall off just like what happened to my 2,000 Euro (wahhhhh!)
2. Different colored leaves make Budapest even prettier. The trees along Andrássy Avenue where LV is have turned yellow.
3. The Thais must be the first Asians to discover Hungary. There are dozens of Thai massage parlors around the city.
A—–“Tart gusto mong magpa massage?”
E—–“Dito ka pa dadayo”.
A—–“Why not? Kung mapagod, kung rayumahin sa kalalakad”.
4. I am weird. I haven’t bought anything from L-Occitane in Manila. But when I travel, I go to their stores.
Oh my Buhay what’s in that bag? I don’t remember… tsk tsk ulyanin.
Ano kaya yun? Hindi ko maalal. Wala na yung supot dito.
5. It’s hard to find the right dress for me. Their size M is too small. This dress would look very nice on me, if MAPAYAT ako.
6. We enjoyed watching early morning risers from our window.
7. The Buda Castle is across the River Danube.
8. I bought a cotton blouse from Pull and Bear. I checked first where it was from to make sure it’s not from China. I happily paid 6,995 forint or approx Euro 23 for something that’s made in Europe.
9. Every single night, we come to this street. It’s so nice to walk around, shop for souvenirs, buy a drink. The place is safe although I haven’t noticed any policeman. No one comes to create trouble.
10. We were at the Sofitel from October 31 to November 4. My husband told me there was only one pair of slippers. He discovered that the other pair was behind the bathroom door two days later.
11. We always go to the same money exchange. They give the highest exchange rate and don’t deduct any commission.
12. I bought a pack of table napkins made in Budapest.
I don’t like to buy more than one pack because the humidity in Manila causes the napkins to smell luma.
13. I skipped having buffet breakfast at the hotel. My stomach could not keep up grinding all those food. I went instead to Burger King for breakfast.
