1. A Filipino singer, actor, host named Jordan Segundo was performing at the Ala Moana Center’s Shop a Le’a when we were there. He made it to the final 32 in American Idol Season 2.

4. First time I wore this dress I bought in a market in Singapore some 3 years ago. I already dumped it in the donation box but changed my mind. It still had a price tag. It’s perfect for Hawaii weather kasi it’s cotton and parang daster lang. My hat is from Legazpi, Bicol.

6. There’s a big Chanel store in Kalakaua Avenue in Waikiki, separate from the two in Ala Moana Center.
The store specialists are claiming that the Hawaii prices are a little bit lower than in the mainland.
7. A vintage looking vehicle is displayed at the Tori Richard store. Tori Richard is not the husband of Tori Burch. They started their company in Honolulu 1956 specializing in resort wear.
8. The Hawaiian state flower is hibiscus. The prints are the same as the plumeria or kalachuchi. The flower print could be found in every dress and souvenir.
