I came home one afternoon feeling sticky. It’s been hot lately despite the fact that it’s supposed to be “wintertime”.
I couldn’t resist dipping into the pool. Not swimming but dipping my legs and arms. I just sat by the pool for about 15 minutes, quietly and looked at the blue-gray sky in my favorite palengke dress. I haven’t done this for maybe 8 years.
When my kids were younger I wanted to have a swimming pool so we could swim and play together. We did for several times but when they reached college level, this pool has become more of a decoration done function.
The result of this spur of the moment “swimming”— the lower back part of my dress faded due to the chlorine in the water.
