We do know that prices of commodities have increased and they will keep on increasing no matter what. Naturally, the workers would expect that their salaries would increase also to keep up with inflation. As business owners we also want to increase our income to also keep up with the increases in the costs of doing business. Employees want higher pay, compqnies need to earn more to pwy for increased salaries and wages, electricity, rent, office supplies, benefits, national and local income taxes, property taxes, qnd so many other things. It’s not that companies do not want to pay higher salaries but it’s not all the time that they can afford it. In many companies, they are forced to reduce their number of employees to pay others higher salaries.
