April 15 Tuesday

I am thankful to LG Antiporda for reminding me this afternoon to get some flowers for the carosa of St. John. Kala ko kasi the lights are enough. Oo nga pala, flowers would be great.

Instead of going to the grocery, I went straight to Farmers Market in Cubao.
I couldn’t decide at first whether to get colored flowers but white would be a safe color. I walked past 4 flower stalls when I saw a bunch of white orchids being unloaded from a small container. Perfect!

The florist, Peter, assured me that the orchids would last until Easter Sunday as long as they’re watered 3x a day and kept under the shade or in a cooler room.
I need a volunteer from Pila-pila to care for this floral arrangements so they last until the Easter Sunday pagkabuhay procession. I can neither go back on Friday nor on Sunday. Help me please!

  1. Hi Annie, ang ganda naman ng flower arrangements mo, ang mahal cguro nyan…Yun ibang may mga may ari ng santo d2 ay bumibili talaga s Dang-wa at pinapa-aarange nila s mga taga dito s Binangonan. About the orchids, I think it will not lasts until Easter Sunday, baka malabong umabot yan… after or during the procession baka kuhanin yan ng mga tao n nadadaanan nyo during or after the procession.. It depends kung gano kabehave ang mga taga Pila pila or mga nanonood dun..Let’s wait n lang mamaya… Why don’t you asks LG kung meron cyang maprovide na mga tao to take care of the carosa. Cguro naman meron cyang maibibigay s u.. Yan din problem ng sis-in-law ko n may santo din, kasi nga pina-jojoin din sana yun santo nya d2 s procession s bayan, the problem lang ay wala kasing mag-aasikaso pag during o after the procession. May be in the next years i-join n rin nya kung may sure n cyang may mag-aasikaso.
Keep up the good work and may God bless us all..:)

    1. Mukhang tama ka yata. Tila medyo lantutay na agad. Kung kunin ng mga tao ang mga bulaklak, wala na ako sa byernes. I cannot buy another arrangement for friday.

  2. Lovely flower arrangements. I love white flowers as well. Thanks po for being very supportive sa mga activities ng mga tiga Pila. Lola Felicing will be so happy in heaven knowing what you’ve done in our community. I know that you gave a sacred heart of Jesus in our church years ago also. Di na po ako naiiba sa inyo( blood line), you can ask ate ayleen aralar, we see each other here in Los Angeles whenever there are special occasions (i’m originally from Pilapila also po, now residing in Ca). Anyways, i just want to comment lang po talaga sa comment ni Ms. Malou, I think the residents of Pilapila are well mannered naman po in that department, so you can count on them on keeping things orderly. We have a saint din po for the family, and relatives are in charge of it, so far from Palm Sunday event naging maayos naman po ito (based on my communications with love ones back home). Let’s all have a safe and happy Easter! God bless!

    1. Thank you.
My problem is I don’t have time to buy new arrangements for Friday. Baka wala na lang bulaklak, ilaw na lang.
      Thank you.

  3. Hi Annie, about procession s Good Friday, Sa bayan ang tradition n ngayon ay di n flowers ang nailalagay s carosa,on Friday, mga dahon n lang. Asked n lang the organizers if ever n ganun din ang gagawin s Pila on Friday..About dun s message ni Ms. Anonymous, sorry s comment ko, Now, as we have experienced sa bayan ganun ang nangyayari.. pero di naman lahat ng nanood ng procession ay mga taal na taga Binangonan yun iba dayo n. In Pila pila marami n ring dayo kaya di natin masabi and besides depende s tao yan kung gusto talaga nilang kumuha o di.. .. Di naman sana mangyari yun pag-kuha ng flowers s mga carosa sa santo mo.
Keep save everyone and God bless too..:)

  4. This is only a suggestion, if the orchids will not last long why not add some artificial flowers in the Carosa so it won’t look bare,

  5. hello, di ko pala nalagay yung name ko above- for the comment, i didn’t mean to hide my identity-Joy A. Membrebe.
