Our food at home & Stitch

Our new kusinera, Jo, used to be the cook at the residence of Ricco Ocampo and Tina Maristela-Ocampo.
She makes my life easier by taking charge of our tiny kitchen. She could easily follow my instructions. In most cases, I didn’t even have to give her any instruction, she already knew what to do.
I doubt very much if she would stay. To begin with, instead of the standard day offs of every other week, she takes weekly offs. She leaves on Saturday and comes back Sunday. But this week, so far she left last Saturday and haven’t showed up. Sabi daw she’s sick. I hope she gets well soon and comes back to stay with us.

Barbecued Pork Liempo.
Oyen has given up eating pork. One time kasi she was riding in the car, meron syang nakasabay na truck with live pigs, naawa sya. Pigs daw are pets and should not be eaten kaya ngayon goodbye bbq na sya.

Her bagoong rice is also good.

And as an added bonus, she’s nice to our dogs, most especially to Stitch.
