I think the younger generation have a different approach,in parenting. Look at my nephew Dr. Ric Tan III. For me, he and his wife Jennifer are the perfect parents. Maybe because both are teachers by education, occupation. Their children are all outstanding. The parents teach them to play different kinds of musical instruments, they sing, dance, excel in art, and in academics. They are loving and kind. They don’t waste time in front of computer games but instead they go to parks and museums. They spend time in their backyard planting seeds or harvesting some organic veggie or flower. Arts, music, crafts occupy a great deal of their time.
