Edmund calls our new cook pasta queen.
Edmund———“Araw-araw may pasta. Di ba yan din ang niluto mo nung isang araw at kahapon?”
Ria————“Hindi Sir, yung kahapon hindi pasta, noodles yun”.
She’s been here for almost two weeks and our ulam revolves around pasta and eggs.
Since we had breakfast this morning in Ling Nam, no one ate the dishes she prepared this morning.
She intends to serve them again tonight.
I saw an omelette looking dish.
Me———– “Ano yan? Itlog?”
Ria——— “Omelet”
Me———– “Anong hinalo mo?”
Ria——— “Bagoong”
( Yuck )
“Meron bang iba?”
Sardines.
Edmund—– “Tama yan, gusto ko yan, hindi marunong magluto, okay, kasi namayat na ako. Bumaba na ang aking timbang”.
The day Ria was brought here by the agency, I asked what her specialties are.
Ria——– “Fried rice, pasta, menudo”.
Me——— Paella?
Ria——– Ano pae…..
Me——— Okay hindi mo alam ang paella, e lengua estofado?
Ria——– Kirong
Me——— so bukod sa prito at nilaga, ano pa ang alam mong lutuin?
Ria——– menudo, Pasta, fried rice.
(ganun din, ni-rotate lang).
Ria——– Mam, kung gusto nyo subukan nyo na lang ako sa cleaning.
