We were very surprised to see a Pinoy Store in front of the Infant Jesus of Prague.
I always get excited every time I see Filipino establishments in foreign soil. I am genuinely happy that they are able to live and succeed in other countries.
A—-“Len, kain tayo ng halo-halo, inom tayo ng buko juice”.
Len–“Ate ang ginaw”.
A—-“Basta kumain tayo”.
Wala naman palang halo-halo. Meron nasa bote na minatamis.
There are 500 Filipinos living in Czech Republic. Not all of them go to church at the Infant Jesus of Prague and not all of them patronize this store, according to the Filipina owner, Myra Nizaradze. She said some of our kababayan intentionally do not want to help fellow kababayan.
They included grocery items from other Asian countries to cater to a wider clientele because they couldn’t depend on Filipino customers alone.
The owners, Myra from Tarlac and her Czech husband, Martin, met in Qatar where they worked. They have a little son. They settled in Prague and opened this store 3 years ago.
Goldilocks polvoron, XO candies
I ordered freshly squeezed apple juice, while Len and Kimberly shared a cup of something else. They actually didn’t want to drink any but I forced them to buy something in support of our kababayan’s store.

How nice of u to support and patronize our fellow kababayan’s business, Ms Annie.. Not everyone is as considerate and as kind as u when it comes to supporting other Filipino’s business..
You have set a very good example to other Pinoy businessmen who are always travelling abroad..
May God bless u for ur kindness and generosity.. 🙂
Have a great Sunday with the family, Ms Annie.. 😉
