I’ve been hearing about this store from my sister for several years now. This is her favorite holiday decor store. She said she could only buy a few items each time she visited because they are expensive.
Finally my sister had the chance to bring me to Pottery World in Rocklin last weekend. It was an hour and a half drive, almost two actually.
It’s a sprawling 3 acre property with thousands of fountains and garden pots, in different shapes and sizes, scattered outside.
We checked out the items in the clearance section. Nice things but mostly broken. A Santa with no hands, a reindeer with no nose, an elf with a broken neck.
Hindi tayo pang-clearance sale, kaya dun tayo sa regular priced items.
Entrance to the sprawling 30,000 square ft. showroom.
Praying angel $229
Snowman centerpiece for dining table $329 +
Balik kaya tayo dun sa clearance sale section.
The showroom is overwhelming. It’s huge and the merchandises are truly fabulous.
There’s also a big section for whole year round decors.
I found something nice among this farmhouse motif items but it’s bulky and big for a balikbayan box.
I really liked this garden thingy made of tin. Bulky lang.
I must have spent at least 15 minutes in front of this mini terri table centerpiece. I liked it a lot. It’s a very heavy tureen shaped glass. When I lifted it, the snowflakes scattered all over my hands and dropped on the floor. Nope, it would go to our food on the table. We could inhale them, bad for the lungs. And also, after the holidays, another item to store that will just gather dust.
to be continued
